Sail along on the swinging musical waves and dive deep into the beautiful underwater world of The Little Mermaid! Van Hoorne Studios continues its long-standing fairy tale tradition in the 2024-2025 theatre season with The Little Mermaid The Musical. With Sita Vermeulen and Natascha Molly alternating in the role of Little Mermaid and Wesley Florijn as the prince. With beautiful sets and costumes and of course a splash of humour in the story, this is the most dazzling fairy tale musical for the whole family!

The story
Deep, very deep in the ocean, among the beautiful coral forest and friendly fish lives the Little Mermaid. With her wavy hair and brilliant voice, she is the darling of her father, King Triton. During a violent storm, the beautiful sea princess rescues a handsome human prince from a sinking ship. She instantly falls in love and she wants nothing more than to be with him, but she lives in the sea and he on land! She goes in search of someone who can help fulfil her wish. From two comical sea creatures, she gets help, but only in exchange for her voice! And what if it turns out that her voice is the only thing the prince can remember about the Little Mermaid... Will she ever manage to see the prince again?
