Exciting Veldhoven

Exciting Veldhoven consists of a number of free events and workshops throughout the year, eventually working towards a larger annual one-day festival with numerous performances and activities in the theatre and on the Meiveld. 

Including (also freely accessible) workshops and performances highlighting Veldhoven's international character, Exciting Veldhoven is a unique and appealing festival with a series of fun events for a broad target group, from young to old. 

Smelt op ‘t Veld
On Sunday 29 December 2024, Smelt op ‘t Veld took place. A broad programme of music and activities for young and old, which took place both outside on the Meiveld and in De Schalm. This first edition was a great success!

Spring on ‘t Veld
Following Smelt op ‘t Veld, the day festival Spring op ’t Veld will take place on Saturday 10 May 2025. Between 13.00 and 23.00, there will be various activities and performances in Theatre de Schalm and on the Meiveld. You will find the full line-up on the website soon.  

Autumn 2025
Also in season 2025/2026, various activities will take place as part of Exciting Veldhoven. Behind the scenes, we are working hard on the details. As soon as the programme is complete, it will also be posted on this website.  

All the above events are free of charge.
As soon as more information is known, it will be added to this page.
